Ralph Amsden– Managing Editor
An ASU graduate and former English teacher, Ralph started C-Town Rivals with the goal of helping to edify Chandler, Arizona athletics and train young sports journalists. Ralph is managing editor of two other high school sports blogs (AZHSFootball and PrepBallAZ), and also writes about his experiences as a parent of three boys for a site called The Dad Letters.
Fabian Ardaya is a 2014 Chandler High graduate. He played soccer at CHS until his sophomore year, and played club soccer from 7 years. Fabian grew up listening to Marv Albert on TNT, and when he was 11 he met Vin Scully and was able to broadcast a 9-inning game for the Dodgers. He has also done radio/TV work for the Diamondbacks, Coyotes, Phoenix Mercury, Arizona Rattlers, and ASU Women’s Basketball. Fabian Currently attends Arizona State University and is an editor for The State Press.
Brett Quintyne hosts the the CTR Podcast, and has had a long career on the broadcasting side of sports media.
Long time valley radio personality- Chilly is passionate about the local high school sports scene, especially football and basketball. He’ll never shy away from a bold prediction.
“Dom” was one of CTR’s original contributors, and since graduating from Basha in 2013, he has taken his sports writing and broadcasting experience with him to ASU, where he’s had an opportunity to broadcast hockey, baseball and anchor the newly formed Cronkite Sports Network.
A regular contributor on Perry sports, Kwaku graduated in 2013, going on to play soccer at Chandler-Gilbert Community College. Kwaku currently writes for the sports blog agoodsportshang.com.
Jordan played basketball at Chandler High school, graduating in 2013. He has since moved on to study sports business at Grand Canyon University, contributing player profiles and op-ed pieces to CTR in his spare time.
A 2014 Hamilton graduate, Drew still contributes to CTR with game recaps and op-ed pieces.
